We found Vyx. Somehow he climbed out of his cage, then slithered down a hole in the back of the classroom to hang out with the computer wires. One of my students pointed out the hole today, so I borrowed a screw driver from our janitor/custodian/menial labour dude and took off panels until I found Vyx. He was very cold, but not dead.
